I am a first-year PhD student at The University of Chicago. I aspire to understand how nature works at the most extreme scales by studying its fundamental building blocks. As a theorist, I am excited by the various technical challenges at the interface of quantum mechanics, gravity, and cosmology.

I obtained my bachelor’s in Physics and Mathematics from Northwestern University. My honors thesis was titled “Quantizing the Roots of Cosmological Inflation”, and I have been heavily involved in various outreach and educational initiatives throughout my life. My non-research interests include board games, puzzles, 19th century art and poetry, a variety of linguistics topics, and bird watching.

You can learn more about me in the page work of this website. If you are feeling particularly invested in this task, I also have an about section.
